Did you notice that I did not say Happy Holidays above?  I do wish you happy holidays, but I also wish you Merry Christmas.  I know that is not politically correct, but it is what we are celebrating in a few days.  It is what has been celebrated for over 2000 years.

What does Christmas mean to you – presents, family, love, sadness, Christ, nothing, none of the above, all of the above?  I accept and respect whatever it means to you and I am not trying to influence your feelings or beliefs, but I do want to share with you what it means to me.  Christmas first and foremost means LOVE – love for my family, my friends, my enemies (yes even my enemies) and my God.  It means a time to use the birthday celebration for Jesus Christ to reflect on what that event means to me (it means a lot!) and I time to plan for the future and celebrate the present and the past.

That is what we will do tonight at our party.  Be with people we can love and like.  Reflect on the past, and revel and celebrate the present and the future.  I am so excited about today and the future.  We have so much to do and so little time (each day should last 30 hours or so).  Just think what 2011 and beyond can bring for the planet and our families if we move together as a community of man dedicated to living sustainably and respecting our planet and each other.
