Make a list of things to do and appointments to keep, and at the end of the day, compare your list with the things you got done.
3. Unplug
Technology has made our lives a lot easier, but it has also connected us to so many networks and resources that it has become impossible to escape from it. Our devices were meant to keep us updated and connected with the world, but it often occupies too much of our time. It’s also advised by many experts to switch off all your electronic devices and smartphones at least half an hour before going to bed.
4. Recharge yourself
Avoid being physically, emotionally or mentally exhausted. Helpguide.org calls the state of physical, emotional and mental exhaustion as “burnout” which can be caused by prolonged stress. Whenever you feel overwhelmed and stressed about your future demands or your past, try to find ways to relax and recharge yourself. Burnouts can leave you feeling depressed, less energetic, and may negatively impact your self-confidence. Stress also adversely affects sleeping pattern and health.
5. Seek a mentor
It’s important that you have your goals set, not only for the day, but also for your entire life.
