Approximately 65% of consumers are mid-level, slowly changing their habits and buying organic products more regularly. Finally, there are 14% of people who are labeled as periphery consumers, leaning toward the idea of buying organic but are not quite there yet.
Organic food is popular among all age groups. Another demographic research showed that 28% of consumers are aged 18-29, 26% are aged 30-49, while as many as 23% of consumers are 50-64 years old.
