On average, Americans throw away approximately 266 million tons of trash every year. It turns out that the stuff that we consider trash is not as worthless as we think; we might as well be throwing away cash! 1. Aluminum cans:

You can easily make money from your aluminum cans. Simply collect all your cans and there are places where you can sell them by the pounds. Recycling not only makes you money, it can also reduce the need to mine raw materials and helps us save valuable landfill space. All rare metals such as gold, copper, silver should be recycled as much as possible. This is a habit that is good for you and makes you money, so you should recycle as much as possible.
